Anyone here got an oem gsr or si muffler on their civic? Or know where I can find some pics of that setup? I have this cheap muffler that I'm sick of and would like to put on this gsr muffler I just got. I have 2.25' custom piping. I test fitted it and noticed it will have to be modified by a shop for it to fit... I also noticed the tip was sticking out pretty far (about 2-3 inches) from the rear bumper. Any suggestions? I would like to have that stock look again. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated...
ps- also anyone know if there is a size difference between the si and gsr muffler??? thanx..

Uhmmm your gonna have to get the piping modifed to get the tip from sticking out so far, OR, remove the exhaust tip(shiny thingy lol) and saw down the stock tip a little and then put the exhaust tip back on.

hey mang thanx for the reply... I didn't think anyone would. Do you know if the gsr and si mufflers are the same size or which one is smaller than the other?

Im really not sure about that, but they look almost identical. In my opinion, if your looking for the stock look, get the Greddy muffler that looks stock, i forget which model, but my friend with a Type R got that and welded on a GSR tip and it looks bone stock, but sounds kick ass. If you need anymore help, reply.

I would go that route but I'm on a low budget so i'm only looking to spend up to 100 for the muffler. Would you know where I could find the CTR muffler? I've been looking for one on ebay, inlinefour, and a few other sites but with no luck.. :(

Hrmm...i would try a junk yard, or people that have new exhaust and don't need their stock ones.
