I'm getting a new system. Everything is ready, but now I need to get an Amp. I want a nice clean Amp which would be good for rock and metal music, and maybe some rap sometimes. I want something that will be clean and not fuzzy when it hits. Any info will be great.

Are you wanting a mono amp for bass or a 4/3/2-channel? All depends on your needs man, but I've always liked Alpine. They've always been clean for me, but I usually match it with their speakers.

You need to provide us with the numbers, the information you gave us is not enough..
what kind of subs did you buy? what is the rms rating? how much do you have to spend? ported box or sealed?

It depends, I've heard different things from different people. I'm going to be powering 2 12" speakers. I haven't bought the subs yet, those are still pending. I'm asking for some information really. I just don't know anything about Amps. It will be a Ported Probox. (How does everyone feel about MTX Audio?)
We need to know the RMS rating of your subs/speakers and the impedance (ohms) and whether its DVC or SVC. Then we can help you.
i have blew many sets of mtx...there new models r junk! i have always been a fan of jl audio imo i have had the same 2 12in jlw3v2 dvc subs for about 4 years now powered by a first gen (yes old school) rockford punch 800 but a few freinds of mine have the same set up with a jl 500/1 amp and the sound equal i have never upgraded my amp...cause i see no need to still works as great as the day as i baught it...and never had a problem with the jl subs...ever...they hit every note nice and clear nice deep bace and very punchy!! but also stay away from the newer rockford amps (aka lightning audio) but it all depends on how much u wanna spend!
