okay i ahve my jackson racing supercharger and well just recently installed a boost gauge after all these months anyway last wekk my car ran fine and all but now my gauge is reading 10 psi . i have no idea why and my car is also runin lean at full boost .last night i got on it and a cel came on . i pulled over and scanned it with my generic obd ll scanner . this is what it read. manifold absolute pressure / barometric pressure circuit intermittent . now i ahve no idea wtf that means so can anyone help oh yeah i now hear a weird noise whats at first sounded like my head but im now positive its the blower .think i f**ked a blower blade or something grr i hope not

10 lbs?? hmm i dont think that would be a standard pulley... did u buy it from someone? maybe they put on a smaller one.. i wouldnt think your motor could handle more than 6-7 without doing any other mods.. once u start gettin up there in boost you need to add fuel... fuk CEL  if the car is boostin at 10 lbs, thats a good thing! as for the noise your hearing... no clue... the jrsc is roots type right? check your oil in the nose drive.. make sure its full/not leaking..

well like i said ive had the sc since it was brand spankin new so there is no way it could be a diff pulley i forget where i bought it.anyways it never read 10 psi before the max it read was 8 but even then i dnt think it was all that acurate.i did add a fuel pump so there should be enough fuel supply but acourse the stock ecu isnt able to completely do everything it wasnt supposed to . i do have a hondata s200 unit but i took it out due to i have to smog in about 2 months and i have the 8 psi pulley waiting for install also. today woke up turned it on drove it a bit and it isnt makin the noise anymore wich is good. also just bought a hondata IM gasket wich i will be installing in about 2 weeks so hopefully when i take the sc off i can check too see if there is any damage to it at all .

hmm.. what kinda of accessories are attached to pulleys.. fans, power steering, anything? those play a major role in peak psi.. like i have a pulley driven fan and stock is 7lbs.. a guy with the same truck put in a dual electric fan and he feels the difference in the motor and he's boostin at 8... btw changin your fuel pump isnt gonna help all that much on stock injectors... it will add more of course but the injectors can only shoot so much fuel ya no? what kind of fpr do you run?

well i did disconect the ac besides that im runing the ps and alternator tahts it.im not actually using a fuel pressure regulator at the moment i have one but i wont be able to use it wth the hondata unit. so i just took it out. i was actually gonna conect my ac back so if that makes a diff

well if the a/c compressor is run by belts which it is, then its only gonna slow you down... get the FPR.. im not sure whats the best ratio for your motor.. but you need it! at WOT full boost.. up there in rpm's i bet your fuel pressure just takes a s**t..
