I havea 2000 Civic SE. I just got my projector headlights with halos. each halo has two wires that power it. (12V) I want each of the 4 halos to run to a Missile Switch inside the car so I can turn each one on with a flick of a switch. The wiring is easy, but how do I get four 12V sources that will run to my center console?? Can I run all 4 off of my cig lighter wires and have all of them get 12V if they're on at the same time. I've never done wiring like this before. Need some help please!

=)

You could run to you to you C/L but would make a heavier load on accesseries & may blow the 10amp fuse. What you should do is run it straight from the fuse box

well i've wired up lines to my buds amp. From the battery I clamed it on then to the Stinger Inverter and onto the amps
but how can I do this? Can I splice two of them into my Cigg. Lighter lines?? Will the L.E.D in the switched rob so much power that ther Halos which are also 12V wont shine as bright?

K i baked the headligt. Took the back off and the little transfuser on the halos was loose. I used 2 dots of high temperature glue and it wrks fine now. I was also able to shine em up ont he inside. i'm rebaking them and resealing them so there's no moisture. However I still need to know how to access at least 2 12v sources. I think i'll follow the cigg lighter to the battery or fuse. Wherever it leads and try there.

you could tap of your cig lighter to your switch and then wire that to terminal 85 on a relay. ground 86. then wire 12v from your battery to the 30 terminal and your halos to 87... also, try not to start a fire... but if you dont know what im talking about then just get someone to do it for you.

better yet instead of using your cig lighter use the accessory at the steering column so the halos will turn off when you turn your car off...

heres my plan. Th halos are 12v each. I want to wire the two consequatie halos to a missile switch and a 12v power source. Can I run 2 halos off one 12v power source? Will it burn it out or make it so the halos only burn half as bright? I want to wire in series if possible because thats easy, but I can wire in parallel with some moederate directions. I can get the sources off the battery but want to know if the halos will bun half aas bright if two share on 12v source? I think thry will but want to be sure. Will 24v fry the first halos before it cang et to the second halo. If you answer these questions I can do it.

My fuse panle has about 10 available slots. The ones that are used have thungs int hem saying "10" "7.5" etc. Can someone explin what these mean? Can I just set up my srucuit and okug them in there? I want a contunous power source so all I ahve to do is flick a switch to turnt he lights on. I guess if the engine was running it would work too. The available slots in the panel have what looks like two little terminals. On on top one ont he bottom. WHich on is neagtive and which positive? How do I go aobut pluggin them in there? Also where are terminals 30 and 87?

seriously the idea of swithching ur halos off one by one is retarded budm each of those flip switches cot like 30 bucks waste of money imo...and for how you talk about wirigring, it don sound like you know much abbout it, i suggest you get a pro or you can do some damage... 1 switch all halos imo...

lol yeah but i know wiring / electronics...
12v tester, and u need to wire it to something that doesn't stay on constant when the engine is off/keys outta egnition - incase u leave the lights on...
ie climate controls, radio, so on...

You can see how it will be wired, and that I simply need to find a place to plug in the 2 positive wires and two negative wires where the halos will get continous power and can run at their maximoun or close to maximun brightness

I want it to be on so its continuously on. The switches stay open when they're on so i'll always no cause I wont be able to get out of the car without smacking my knees on the missile switches if they're open. Just need a place to plug em in. Can I stick em in any old place on the fuse?
