Need help! Bad idle!

I have a 1996 honda civic hatchback with a 2000 front end swapped with a 1998 b16a2. Before i got the car, it would idle high and low here and there when i come to a stop. One day the teeth on the timing belt broke off so a friend of mine helped me replaced it. After the timing belt was replace, the car idled low and has smoke coming out of exaust. The ecu is not stock. Idk much about it but i know the redline is not stock.

CEL on? First thing I'd check is the IACV.

How's it sound? Did you make sure the timing was done properly when you replaced the belt?
