need help deciding

I have a 1996 Honda civic DX and the car is mad weak "slow". I was really wondering what to do. I have the money to do the B18C1 swap but i'm not really into racing anymore, I just want some decent everyday power. So do you guys thimk getting the EX motor a good choice. Because if I get the GSR motor and try to sell the car later on, i won't make the money back. Any responce will be appreciated.

go zc engine you can get the swap for around 1000 or less and its like 130 hp and a j spec engine really good swap also good for turbo if you can do it yourself you can prob get it for like 700

Hate to break it to ya but no matter what you do you're never gonna get your money back. But anyways I have a d16y8 and it has decent everyday power plus add a few simple bolt-ons and you get a decent daily-driver I think.
