I have a set of 2001 celica projectors that I am gonna retrofit into my 2000 civic headlamps. Will these projectors work well with hid or no.
What year celica was that because I think the new 2003 2004 celica has diff projector than previousOriginally posted by RiceBoy
I recently installed a set of HIDs on a Celica. They worked and looked fine.
I took the celica projector out of the 2001 celica housing and opened my factory 2000 civic housing and installed it in there. I have a hid kit from 2003 nissan maxima. I just changed my bulb to d2s also. It use to be d2r but that is reflector bulb and has a shield on it. Does any one have a 2000 -2002 celica pic with hid. Not 2003 or 2004 because those projectors are made for hid.Originally posted by anekin007
projectors are poorly made, plus the length of the HID bulb are too long for the projector headlamps. thats why you dont see people doing HID conversion on civic projector headlights.
are you installing th Bulbs, wires, and Ballast? the only thing bad about putting HID on 6th gen civics is that the light looks scattered and it will blind people. i barrowed my friends s2000 HID and i love it, makes me want to get one, but thats about $300 on the streets, from a dealership is $1400.
What kind of rims are those on your SI? Are those racing hart cp035 or knockoffs just wondering because if they have knockoffs then imma purchase me some. the real ones are too much. Also do they have em in size 16.Originally posted by civic_on_air
ummmmmm they shoud work fine but why wouldnt you just buy civic projector headlights.... they arent that expensive anymore
