I found a pretty nice civic but its a canadian civic. Its a 96 si which is a EX here. I was looking for the vin number under the hood but i couldnt find it. The guy said that the canadian civics dont have the two vin numbers under the hood. I figured that all civics should have the two VINs. can someone help me out? thanks

Just look at the vin number on the top of the dash, and you can also find it on one of the doors where it tells you the weight of the car

what province is the car from? because some provinces do not use salt while some do.

you only need to worry about certain provinces

Ontario, maritimes provinces(New brunswick, etc.) and Alberta (I think) are bad provinces

Manitoba, the warm parts of BC, Saskatchewan are all good ones.

make sure you check the interior of the wheel wells really good. If you even see a spec of rust, I'd think twice about buying. If there is any rust there, then there is probably rust in places you cant see.
