Need help removing heater control panel

I have a 95 Honda Civic Ex Coupe and im trying to take a certain piece of the dash off to replace it but i dont want to take the whole dash out.

I did use the search on this forum and i did use google but it keeps taking me to replacing cluster which i dont need. I just want to take this one piece off. Can someone tell me how or if possable do pictures since im retarded please?

Heres what i need help on (Not my dash, just a picture of the same dash...)

sorry if the picture is to big. New computer, i havent put PS on it yet.

Any chance someone knows how to remove this without removing the whole dash or know the name of the light grey piece so i can search on here or google to take it off

They didn't make it easy. To be honest, it is a huge pain in the @$$. There are screws all the way around and quite a few of them are just shy of impossible to get at with the dash in the car.

its easier to fly den do this with dash on

I removed that with out taking off the dash. i removed the bottom part of the kick panel where ur knees go and removed the cluster and the seats to give me a little more room to work with. then used some flex are long enough screw drivers to remove the screws that r in place. only took a 2 hours maybe less if i know what ur doing
