search search search. where are you sourcing the engine from? if the donor car is fuel injected you will need to remove the ecu and wire harness along with the engine. if it is also a carb engine you could maybe use the ecu, harness, intake manifold complete with sensors and fuel rail, and exhaust with o2 sensor from another d series engine.
like i said you must use the search, you may or may not be able to use certain parts interchangably in the d series. of course im not familiar with a D18, never seen one or heard speak of one. there is a whole section on swaps in the forums here, although i think it only has info on usdm and jdm engines. dont know what you guys got over there in south africa, but i wish you luck!
