Need help with gauge problems

Just did a swap with a gauge cluster with tackometer on it and tach works fine, speedo works but the fuel and temp are pegged to the top. How can I trouble shoot or fix this problem? I seen many post about this but no answers. Please help.

need more info. what kind of car did you put what kind of cluster in. years and how you wired it

check your grounds. you might have reversed the polarity... if thats possible

I have a 94 hatch DX and bought a EX cluster so I can have a tach on mine. I did a straight swap with the gauges but kept my original speedo. They are plug and play right or do you have to do a slight mod to get it to work properly?
