need help with my build

hi i just bought a 99 civic dx coupe im looking to do a b series swap im not sure what to buy but i know i dont wanna boost it i wanna run all motor just build it up and get some good hp maybe supercharge it if i have to im looking really for power and something reliable any advice would help thanks

im assuming you have the d series still in the car.
so my advice is to swap to either a gsr (b18c1) or type r either b18c(jdm) or b18c5(usdm). gsr builds are better for boost. type r builds are better n/a due to the high compression.
supercharger would be kind of a waste of time and money IMO. you wont gain much from a supercharger on a 4 bangers.
and if you do an insane N/a build your comfort and daily drivability goes out the window.

ya alright sounds good i kept hearing go gsr cause its a lighter motor and u can get crazy rpms out of it people kept telling that a type r is way over priced for what ur getting and there not that good to run so u think if i go all motor buy a type r and build it up?

and what is the difference with b18c(jdm) and b18c5(usdm).
