ok guys so the situation is that i went and got a 93 civic EX cluster (manual) and put it into my 95 DX (automatic) and have had problems with the speedometer. The main reason i swapped clusters is because the speedometer was messing up already, the needle would read only at 20 mph and up. Also the old cluster would stay at 100mph when i hit 100 and would go the opposite way when i turned off the car and the only way to get it back to normal was to hit 100mph again and slowly decrease the speed. when i first put in the new cluster i replace the speedometer it came with, with the old one. The first couple of days it was fine, it read the speed smoothly but now its doing the same things as it used to. So my question is: is there a sensor or anything that might be causing this problem?.......also the light that indicated Parked, Neutral, and Drive were all working the first time i put in the cluster but now the Drive one won't light up (this was also happening prior to the swap).
