I'm new to the "honda world". I'm looking at buying a civic 99-? and need some help on year and model. All the talk of v-tec, single or twin cam, a, b, 16 or what ever is confusing me. I need help! My plans are to turbo the car, with some other mods also, but I'ld like to start with the right model first.( ex si dl etc.) Not very interested in an engine swap right now. Thanks in advance. get a 99si if u dont want swap. also its going to cost u a bit...if u wanna stay all legal then 99-00 si with greddy turbo kit then ur good..but u should research first...im more of a dohc fan.

yeah get a 99 si, then you already have a dohc vtec engine. then all you need to do is blow it up with your turbo kit!!!!! lol

dl? that would be a eagle talon n/t , search on the top of clubcivics page big gray bar that says civic specs.

I saw the spec page, but I thought I would ask on here because of the turbo that I would like to add along with a few other things. ( the dl, ex, etc. was sarcasm) Thanks. Duke
