I'm looking for interior ideas. I don't want to paint my dash or anything like that, just tasteful upgrades. I wouldnt mind making a f-glass center console but I'm unsure about how I'd do it. I plan to get sportier seats and reupholstering part of my door panels. I'm on a pretty limited budget for now.... Any help would be appreciated.

im prolly gonna get flamed for this but............... personally i like jdm interior stuff, like dash lights that glow amber and stuff like that, its clean and not outragous. but some of the parts can be pricey, but on thing about the parts they ALWAYS fit,no cramming and fudgin with um. well thats just my opinon

(you like that word fudgin?)

I hate JDM with a passion but I really like the idea of parts that fit! I like the lower console I've seen on ebay but they want wayyy too much. I'm looking for something a little flashier though, mind you not too flashy.

hahaha you hate stock parts???? thats funny.

personally i think its stupid to spend money on all those "jdm parts" but i also think its stupid to spend the money on blue bulbs, indiglow gauges, and MADDDD neon lights.

get some seats that hold you in better and give better support, re-do the door panels, but don't do something stupid like lime green or white, that s**t looks cheap, do black, or if you must go with a color red is ok.

gauges can also make a interior alot nice, but make sure you don't go crazy and if you have a stock motor well then id say f**k the gauges cause there anit s**t you need to worry about.

aaaa damn couldn't find the pic i was looking for but ya you get the idea hopefully

i personally like the idea of the lower center dash/ console. but you are right, they are way too expensive. there is an auto salvage yard in memphis and i have them call me anytime any civic si or integras come through. i want to build a totally different interior for my car and i like idea or being able to always add more and take more out. all of the interior mods i have done so far are removable and un-noticable once removed. that way i can change my car depending on the situation. if i am out for a run, i don't need all of the electronics... i need guages. if i'm on a road trio or in line at the DMV, i can just use the consoles with the lcd and whatnot. i like to keep my options way open.

You weren't being mean... I know I need wheels bad, but up here even cheap wheels are expensive. I have been looking for some 16"s but on a limited budget it's quite hard to find any... I have the stock hubcaps but I pulled them off because they didnt fit quite right on my front winter wheels.
I hate the look of carbon fiber, the real stuff is way too expensive and the imitation stuff looks too cheesy.

ha, on my hatchback thats all i ride, steelies, hence the name. but thats also because of lack of money. Everythings stock so far, except a little bit of custom work i put on it, and it looks good. If i could figure out how to add pics i would.
