So i think i found this sweet deal on a 02 wrx. i really think i shouldnt let this pass.
but my dad thinks that the car has alot of bad history.
He thinks that the car has been submerged under water (i know.. crazy) but he thinks that because the trunk seals and hood seals are dirty and muddy.
i wana know what you guys think.
here are some pics.
dirty engine bay

his point of concern - leaves and dirt

Rusty look under hood

main point- this is why he thinks its been under water.. he said " water dried up from standing in the water"

ohh and this seat bolt..

the car looks great outside.

got traction

Every time it rains, water flows through that channel where the seals are. It doesn't even have to be parked under a tree, simply being OUTSIDE in the rain will do that to a car. Smack your dad across the face and say "Stay outta mah s**t nigga!!"

Not to mention it's a friggin WRX. If they weren't driving it around in the dirt and mud and s**t they weren't using it right lol.

That's a s**t ton of miles. My friend had a WRX and from what I remember, he said those motors aren't reliable past 100,000 miles. I could be wrong though.

I don't mind dirt, that can be cleaned off in a day. Miles can't be taken off the car. Either get it for a lower price, or get one with lower miles.

Dude if you can't find it with lower miles, then start looking at cheaper cars....

I don't get it, what does being in the military have to do with buying his car?
