i have a 95 civic dx 4dr and looking to replace my struts and springs cause mine are squeaking at the moment,
i dont have a lot of money and i dont want to cheap out either.

i cant afford to go full coilovers
so im thinking can buy struts than springs that drop the car 1-1.5 inches all around.
im a delivery driver so i drive it all the time and would hate to be stopping at every bump to go over it slow.
i have 13 inch rims and tires.

i was thinking of getting upgraded struts and springs or just get the orginal ones from pep boys or something.
help me out please

^ yeah probably your cheapest and best bet. Will make for a bit more sporty ride but still comfortable and not too low for everyday driving. Don't forget to get an alignment done after you've installed everything.

With the sale on those, the price is $440 shipped.

If you can spare $150 more you can get Progress CSII Coilovers. That way you get quality coilovers with your choice of spring rates as well.

you'll usually spend more at a place like pep boys

They quoted me $650 out the door for all four corners on Monroe struts and an alignment (I needed an alignment before I lowered my car)

I picked up the Koni/Tein setup from this site, then rear LCA's, camber kit, and front arms and it cost me about $700.

So $50 more and I had 100% new suspension instead of 4 shitty Monroe struts from a shady ass place like pep boys

...and an alignment (I needed an alignment before I lowered my car)
Should be the other way around. You NEED to do an alignment anytime you lower a vehicle. Actually an alignment should be done anytime you mess with ride height either way.

If you want to lower your car eventually anyways, just wait until you have the money. How much do you actually have available to spend right now?
