Sup fellaz, i need help with something. I want to hook up some neon rings around my subs and i was wondering where to find the power source in the trunk. I was thinkin about just slippin the + and - into the amp but im not sure if thats such a good idea. is there something that i can build like a little module that i can hook up a few neon tubes to without having any electrical problems? If anyone has experience with custom trunk installs your feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. -RL

what i did in my old car was hook up a primary wire out of the 12v positive out of the amp to an inline fuse to a barrier strip with 4 positions, 1 row is hooked up to a grounding point and 1 is the one hooked up to the inline fuse to the power.

this way if i wanted to connect neons or whatnot, all i gotta do is tap into this

do you want them to run constant, cause if not you could wire them into your trunk light so that they will only come one when you open the trunk, just a thought instead of running them all the time

I would run a while connected from a fuse, ground it and up it up to a swtich and you're good to go. That's what I did when with my license plate lights.
