Well I want to change up my interior, get some seat covers (until I can afford some nice bucket seats), do a little painting and what not.

Right now my interiors mostly black with some blue parts, I used shitty paint though so theres some scuff/chip marks already so i'm redoing it. My car is a dark green color, so blue wasent the best color either. The only color I can think of that will go with the dark green paint job is yellow, but i'm not big on that color.

Anyone have any ideas for a color scheme I can go for?
((ps and telling me to leave it stock isent an answer i'm looking for :P))

Also if anyone knows where I can order pre-designed interior replacements peices, thatd be good. Driving a 98 civic SI (canadian SI)

please leave it stock, you dont need any paint just leave it stock color, and what is a seat cover going to do but waste your money also, put it tward stuff you want, save up and get everything peice by peice.

you have 3 options PURELY imo...

1) leave it stock: it will at least look ok..

2) invest a LOT of money on good quality parts: your interior will look great conisting of good quality well made parts (ctr steering wheel, nice race seats, etc..)

3) rush it and try to do things cheaply: it will look in my opinion DIFFERENT but.. cheap...

i love my interior.. but have spent a decent amount of cash getting it that way... generally when you start using paint out of a can to paint large amounts of parts (like interior pieces) it doesnt come out good.. ESPECIALLY when its some really loud obviously out of place color.. im not hating on your or your "style" im simply stating my opinion.. post some pictures..

Well it looks rather stupid at the moment, a very vibernt blue and black theme - I don't want to post pictures.

I used some cheap interior vinyl paint from wal-mart, didnt prep it at all.

This time around i'm going to get SEM paint, which I hear is very good and made for this type of stuff. I'll prep well too. Doesn't come in alot of colors, but I think i'm going to mostly go black, with a few peices this very dark blue color. I think it will turn out well.

go slow...

the only good looking seat covers are expensive, so you might save your money and just keep an eye on honda forums and ebay. For my car I installed GSR leathers in the front and used a seatcover for my rear (the seatcover was $200, so it matches and looks great, but a bit pricey)

Using exotic colors... that can be dangerous. It might look cool for a while, but almost always you will get tired of it. Best bet if you must paint is to go with black or gray- you can freshen up your interior and keep it from looking rice by doing a dual tone of these.

I modified the interior of my 95 coupe considerably and it looks great. Purists would probably hate it, but that isn't my worry. The only thing I was worried about was to keep any changes from looking out of place... If I installed something, painted something, or recovered something, I made sure that when I was done, it looked as though it came from the manufacturer.

For my interior, I installed GSR leather fronts (charcoal), recovered my rear seat with matching vinyl covers, installed a modified integra center console, recovered my door inserts and rear inserts with a matching charcoal leather, plus a few other things.
As far as painting, I removed the plastic trim that surrounds the radio, climate, and other buttons- I painted it to match the rest of the dash. (and even wetsanded and fully sealed- perfect looking- I still feel guilty about painting)

Making small changes can often have the biggest impact.
Out of all the stuff I've done, I still would vote installing a Honda leather steering wheel wrap as being the one change that altered my interior the most. After having one of those, it makes the old look and feel of the plastic ones seem like a truck.
