Here is the engine mods for my teg:

38mm Wastegate Rev Hard Intercooler Polished pipes Apexi BOV Apexi
V-afc DSM

Blue Top injectors + Accord Resistor box Civic Dual core Radiator 10"
Slim Fan
2 1/2 Downpipe
2 1/2 Stainless steel exhaust w/ high flow cat.
Clutch Master stage 2 clutch
Dc Short shifter

I need to do some fuel management! ANyone have any suggestions? Do i need to get a wideband either way if I choose hondata or a chipped ecu? Right now I wanna use it for a daily on regular work days and boosted on weekends... but mainly for daily for right now till I get more money to put into it.... It blows white smoke out the exhaust mainly cause its runnin rich and the car setup is for after boost. Lemme know any suggestions would help out alot. Thanks. Also if you can give me price ranges for any option and why should I go with that option.

White smoke isn't caused by running too rich.... running too rich will cause excess carbon build up on the exhaust tip, and a rich smell of gas coming from the tail pipe.... white smoke is usually caused by anti-freeze being burned......
Change your oil and make sure there's no coolant floating around in it..... if there is, you might have some major problems.... also on the reverse end.. check in the radiator for signs of oil.

I recently checked the radiator no oil there well from what i can see.. I gotta change out the oil and see wassup wif that.. thanks again dude.... and hopefully it aint nothing major... But I had a few buddies look at it said nothing major wrong just need a chipped ecu and/or a wide band to clear it.... is it true?

Well.. what are smog regulations like? We don't have to get smog checked down here in Navarro County, so I know nothing about being smog legal.

As far as fuel management goes.... there are a lot of options out there.... it depends on what kind of money you're looking at spending and so on.
You can do anything from mild tuning with a SAFC (LS motors have no VTEC, so you really only need an SAFC, not a VAFC)... all the way to full stand alone systems.... What you first need to determine is... is your car OBD1 or OBD2... I can't remember if the 96's changed over to OBD1 yet or not.
Then if it was me, and say the car was OBD2, I'd convert it to OBD1, and get a custom chipped and dyno tuned ECU... that would be the cheapest most effective route I'd take if it was my money and my car... anything else wouldn't be good enough, in my mind.

However, if I had the money/time/know-how, I'd probably buy a fully programable stand alone system.

Yuh its OBD1 and I dont know why he put a vafc since its B18B prolly only afc he had laying around or maybe got it from a parted vtec anyway thats what a few ppl suggested to me to go through a chipped ecu and dyno tune it. I heard Hondata does the same thing jst more $$$ and easier. As far as smog...well it takes the cake it won't pass for sure. Right now I just wanna run it as a daily... dont really got any money this month to fork out more. So I need the best option for a daily setup. and I want it to not run too rich also.. I fillt he stutter on the car I forgot what my friend told me about that but he said its cause I need a wide band. I think thats what he was talkin about... as far as the stutter goes in btween gears. and also based on the pics you think I should eventually switch out the manifold on H-i.com they told me its prone to breaking? what manifold are they talking about the intake manifold or exhaust manifold?

I have no clue about the manifold breaking... have never heard of that problem... I couldn't imagine it happening under low boost....

As for your set up... if it's going to be a daily driver, I'd keep it boosted around 8lbs and just have the fuel system/management tuned to compensate for that.

For more information... try going to http://www.thedropshop.tv/ and email them about your question... turbo systems and chip tuning are some of their specialties.... and they're a very reputable company. I know many people who they've set up with turbo systems.

Get hondata. Is sooo worth the money. I used to have the s200b on my daily driven b18b turbo hatch. Try visiting VSV in carrollton, stoney should be able to hook it up.

hey cha, what's up.. if you see a white smoke it means that you're burning coolant, did you already check your head gasget if it's leaking? for a temporary FMU use Vortech fuel management for boost less than 8 psi, that's what i know..

hey cha, are you going to the meet up on sept 5th 04? if yes, i will bring some papers about turbo that i've reaserch. it might help.. bye =)

Stoney is part owner, main fabricator and tuner. The stuff you heard sounds like some bs. I know they have done many swaps...no problems.
