Need suggestions on power door lock conversion kit

Hi folks,

I just got the 1st honda in my life, a 2011 civic-VP at great price. I am very pleased with the car except the lack of power door upsets me a little bit. I am thinking to use a aftermarket conversion kit. Based on my research, this approach seems less demanding than using OEM replacement?

I have following questions for this conversion,
(1) Which kit I should use?
(2) The power supply to the power lock is already in place even in DX trim, correct?
(3) Any writeup for this conversion?

Thanks.

I didnt figure a 2011 would have manual door locks no matter what trim the car is i mean damn its a 2011.
I havent kept up with the new generation of civics though i stick with the 90's to 2000 i know all the little stuff about them and easy to work on and mod.

The 8th gen civic seems pretty easy to work. I can reach the oil filter and drain plug without jack this little car.The engine bay is nicely lay out although the accessory belt seems need some twist for replacement.

right? what 2011 has manual locks. hahaha. sorry, just thought that was funny.
also, i would not go with an aftermarket kit. for the amount of work you are putting into it, i would just get the ome, i know it might be a little bit more work and more expensive, but trust me, honda knows how to do there wiring, they spent millions of dollars to get there locks just right, i think i would spend alittle more time and money to get ome than try to mod it. just my thougths though.

Im sure there easier to do the ruglar stuff on i mean stuff like i can pull the intake mani of a d series and the three 3 series ive done in no time with no instructions. i can pull the heads off the same way id have to relaearn everything on the new ones im sure i will eventually i do alot of mechanic work for cash so whenever somebody around me gets one then ill learn.
^ defintly agree honda knows what there doing oem replacemnt is going to be a much better route.
