Need to know what fitment kit I need for my thule rack

Im buying a thule rack off craigslist, it will fit my car but the guy says I'm going to have to get a fitment kit for it. Does anyone know which one to get? It's for my 99 civic sedan. Thanks.

hmm not sure about fitment kits but you should check the number for the rack and see if it really is for your car or not but here's a link for some fit kits

if his is a coupe, and yours is sedan, then yes you need a fit kit. the door brackets are slightly different between the two (learned this from personal experience putting sedan racks on my coupe)

the coupe uses fit kit #259, but not exactly sure the number for sedan

i have the parts left over from when i converted mine over. do you want them? it's exactly what you'll need (fit kit brackets and pads/shoes for 96-00 sedan)

or listen to the guy that had thule racks for a sedan and converted them to fit a coupe, maybe?
