Hey so i have a Chipped (converted P06) and my tuner is suggesting the Neptunes RTP board......What would u guys suggest? Is that a good program to use? and comments feedback would be much appreciated.............I can see the savings when around here its 100 hr to tune, so i can get a RTP board for 400 and save alot of money in the end........help me out....thanks

I didnt know if it would be better to just buy an ostrich and Hulog and tune that way or send the 400 and get the real time program???

if its money you're worried about, then just chip the ecu and be done with it, but if you want a killer tune with tons of options, get the neptune.

yeah i have the chipped ecu, but i want to keep this motor alive. Its going to cost me almost the same thing if i chip the ecu because now i need to buy an ostrich module and datalogging cable and program to tune with.........But them i can buy the neptunes for 400 and get that installed, but then again i dont know how to tune hondas so i would need to pay for someone to tune it anyways.........My main thing is i like the real time programming on the fly and if anything goes wrong i dont have to wait to get an appt to have someone look at it.........I also dont own a laptop so would it be pointless to even get or will a set basemap work fine for my setup??? I can buy like crome pro license and use that if i have to but still equals out to 400 in the end.....so i dont know im pretty sure i might go with the RTP and down the rd i will sell on here or something if anything comes up..........Thanks

are you using or used Neptunes RTP? I heard alot of GREAT feedback on the product.......Ive actually seen greater reviews with RTP than Hondata S300.....Ive heard alot of bad things, as im sure all of u have before......

u have heard a lot of bad things about s300? weve never had an issue with either one.

If you arent capable of handling the tuning yourself and price is a concern. i would save the money on the RTP and get it tuned on the base neptune by a neptune dealer.

I also agree with Mike.

What you want to do is contact your tuner and ask him what he is comfortable tuning with. NepTune RTP is a great unit and I recommend it to anyone. BUT if you are never going to touch the car, then I would go with the regular NepTune Eprom version which you can only get from a NepTune dealer. Check out www.hrtuning.com for more info and tuners in your area.
