New 1995 Civic owner

Just bought my first Honda. My previous experience has been mainly v8 camaros, Mustangs, and diesel trucks. The car is a 1995 Civic coupe 5-speed I bought as a gas saver because my diesel truck is costing too much to drive. Almost 300,000 miles, and rusty, but the interior is clean and it runs good. I'm not one to leave stuff alone, so I'm thinking I may end up fixing the rust and repqinting it. I can usually fix just about anything, but I'm looking forward to the challenge, as I know absolutely nothing about the cars. I'm into anything lifted, fast, etc so I may end up trying to get some more power out of it. Thanks in any advance for the help as I'm sure I'll be asking a million questions in the coming months. I'm in Louisville Ky and I'm always up to help out if anyone needs help turning some wrenches.

If you're looking for quick, your real only options are boosting the motor, or swapping the motor and then boosting that. These are some of the easiest cars to work on, parts are relatively cheap and easy to acquire, and there's a ton of resources on here for just about anything that you need.

I've been I ebay a lot and I have noticed that parts are really cheap. I just found both quarter panels new for $50 shipped. And a friend of mine has a d-series turbo kit that he said he'll sell me for $800. That includes a Garrett turbo. He said it's been laying in his shop for a couple years. Just seems like I'd need quite a few supporting mods.
