New civic tomorrow. First one! Help!

I'm buying a 1988 civic tomorrow. It's bone stock and just figured I'd ask some more knowledgeable persons for help on what upgrades to do. It needs an exhaust so let's start there!! please and thank you.

It's a 1988 five speed with 130k on it. It's bone stock. It needs an exhaust right now. It was the kids first car so I figure he beat on it a bit.

I'm so glad I live in the south where our cars don't have terrible rust because of the salt. Anyways it doesn't look bad. Do you mind if I ask how much are you paying?

Yup preventative maintenance first! Id just get a nice oem style replacement exhaust system
