New from Houston

As the title says I'm a new member from Houston Texas. I daily drive a 1994 Honda Civic EX 4 door. I'm not real big into fixing it up for race or anything but I am steadily upgrading it as funds are available. It's just a daily beater but I will start an upgrade thread to show what all I do to the car and how I solve any problems I may come across. Thank you in advance for any welcomes that may come.

My nickname is chopshop because every time I put my hands on a vehicle I can't leave it stock. I start cutting out things I don't want or need, buying parts to build anything from daily hauler to weekend feelings hurter. This is my first rodeo with an import so we'll see how it goes. I've been looking and it seems there are a ton of aftermarket parts for this car, that are cheap.lol. So I'm just in it to daily drive it and have fun with the little car. I absolutely love the great gas mileage it still gets.

So far the only things I have done to the car is:

Power steering delete( I'm going to buy a manual rack).
Prothane motor mount inserts.
EBay stainless steel header and exhaust.

I don't have pics yet but they are coming soon.

The world of civics is full of options from cheap to stupidly overpriced and useless up to "why didn't it just come with this from the factory". Unfortunately, all the options make modifying a civic very research intensive.

And this forum likes pics, a lot, so don't let us down haha

I'm still trying to come up with a name for the car. My street truck is a 2001 single cab short wheelbase Chevy silverado affectionately named "The Whore"; I spend all my money on her just for her to break and f**k me good for some more money. That build is for another time and a different forum. I do have a few pics of The Whore, if anyone is interested.
