What's up everyone, names Tony. I'm 17 years old, decided to join forums to get into the community and looking into these forums will probably help me with a lot of future stuff. I got a 07' Honda Civic SI Sedan yesterday. Drove a little out of town to get it, kind of had a doubt on my mind the whole time about getting it, nothing against Honda's, just because it was a salvage title. Test drove it, everything seemed fine, mechanically sounded fine, clutch was good, tranny was meh, kind of bad to be honest, 2nd gear grind is terrible... We talked to the owner back and fourth all day with offers, took a break and went out for dinner, and ended up taking home the civic for $5600 with 2 trannys included. I will be doing a full rebuild for the motor and tranny as soon as possible, hopefully this weekend, waiting for the title to be mailed in and get on insurance with it. Although its salvage title at the end of the day, I drove home happy!
Here's a picture of what the car is right now, I have the stock SI wing with it but I'll be selling it, and will try to sell the rims too.
