New guy from IN

Hello Im a new mem. from Westville IN. I just traded my car for a 1993 Civic DX with a D15B7 in it that is brand new has about 1k miles on it. Of course its a 5 spd coupe. My question is what do the senior members think I should do first to make it a fast street racing car. Im looking for a 1-10 type list of importance of engine mods to make this thing fast as hell. Id like to stay with this engine so please dont say swap it to a B16 or 18 because I want to but have a limited budget lol. so any help on this subject would be very much appreciated.

First of all, WELCOME!!!!!! ;o). For starters, Its usually the intake and exhaust that get upgraded first when starting out in the scene. They are pretty decent on price and easy to install. Post some pics of your ride and keep it going!!!!

Your not gonna get much power out of the d15b7 unless you boost it, Sorry to say it. The D wasnt meant for big N/A power and it doesn't respond very well to bolt ons. I say just ride it out till you can save enough money to go big. Especially if you actually want to be "fast as hell" like u say

Well welcome. What did you trade for your coupe? Your best bet is to do nothing to that car until you are mature enough to not want to go do something stupid like drive like an ass in a civic and give the rest of us a bad reputation. With that being said, enjoy your stay, read alot, save your money and be patient with your car. Again welcome.
