new guy needs info

Whats up. Im new to hondas,i can work on anything,but i have always built chevys and v8s.I have a bagged and bodydropped s10 in the garage right now.I noticed this guy at work with a crx and after talking to him about all the stuff he has done and still gets the mpg that he does im hooked.especially after he took me for a ride! So here I am.I need all the info i can get,i would like to build a ride to hang with the mustangs and what not. Oh and my buddys think Im crazy to go from v8 s10s to 4cyl civics!!! thanks guys

Well, if you've got the money, go big or go home. Haha. What's your budget? That's a good start. and pics of the s10 would be nice.

Well first grab a civic, (I'd say 92-99 cause im not a fan of pre 1992 and this range are lighter than the newer one) pick up a k20a jdm engne or a k20a2 rsx type s engne and boost it if you got the cash. If u want to spend a little less go b series and definitely boost it, But like what was previously stated we need to know your budget and power goals.

if you've got that kind of money, don't worry about boosting it. it's not as durable as compared to if you were to supercharge it. it's a little more expensive, but lasts longer. either way, good luck with your future build.

66true, I was just going with his statement of "build a ride to hang with the mustangs" cuz im assuming he means GT's not v6's so boost would definitely be the way to go. But supercharging a k20 would def be more reliable and get him up there as well so your right
