Hello! Just wanted to stop in and say hi. I just purchased my stock 97 civic dx two weeks ago. It is a silver coupe 5 spd with the d16y7 with around 143k miles on it. Its pretty solid minus needing a new muffler, tires and possibly an AC recharge. I am looking at tuning up the engine and driving it until 200k miles, or plus. I am in the military and use this car for my DD to to keep the milage off my 2007 versa. I hope to learn a lot from this forum and in turn give something back! Will post pictures soon.
