New Here, and having Issues

Yeah, i'm new to here. Name is Daniel, i drive an 01 4dr Honda civic, currently having serious issues with it, and am in need of help. Maybe people have the answers here. But if anyone is looking for crx parts, i have almost two cars worth of interior lol, and almost two whole interior sets of del sol. Forget the year but i'd know if i looked at em, so message me, comment back. Anything. Selling parts and looking for major help on my car

Other then just repairing it from a front end collision (sadly i bought it like that like an idiot) but it will not go above 3k RPMs. My CPS (crank position sensor for my car) has to be unplugged because if i plug it up my car will start then immediately die. I bought a brand new one, replaced it and still i can't plug it up. I've google-ed, forum searched, and anything else i could think of before breaking into the motor, or worse breaking down and buying a new motor, which i really don't want to do unless i utterly have to.

And btw, I've been looking at your new post, cheers on another proud 4dr owner lol, hopefully it comes out nice. I'm trying to do the same thing on mine, all I've done is a clean set of wheels i had to have laying around. But a nice sleeper 4dr is fierce

oh dang thats horrible well post up pics of the damage in all angles and i can try and see what is wrong with it because i can also have my friends help u with also.

edited:well you need an oil change 1st for the low RPMSs for the car dying immediately it might me low compressions but not sure
also check all the wiring see it something is missing or damage because all this just sounds like engine damage ingeneral

I'll have pictures posted either later tonight or tomorrow morning/afternoon. Replacing my well bearing/wheel studs on front of car. It "SAYS" it just had an oil change before it was in the accident, not sure when that was, but i do know it has oil in it. Once i get my wheels back on I'll go get new oil & filter. But would bad/low oil be making the car not get passed 3k RPM? And what about the sensor?

the low compression could be why the car doesnt want to run when you plug in the CPS
and the low RPMs are just dude to the oil cus thats how my civic was when i 1st got it but if not like i said before u might just have to replace the motor and make sure they dont try to BOP u for ur motor because now i dont have V-Tec in my car cus the idiot switch out the EX badge and put an LX on so the machinic put it a no v-tec.

and yes someone else rock the 4 dr with me doesnt make me feel so lefted out. but i think my would look like a show car/sleeper plus no here expects a girl to race or drive stick, wrong i drift a car any day.

well u should tell me ur ideas on ur project ;p we should get matching paint jobs lol or reverse

Ud think that but there's a girl with a boosted gsr that rolls out every sat to Avalon and shes killing people like most guys wont race her any more.

mines just all stock but i still smash on ls v's and almost a gsr until the cops came. i'm not going ls v or turbo yet until i can get everything else done

To clarify, probably shouldv'e done that in first post, my car runs great when my CPS sensor is unplugged, except for not going above 3k RPM, thats do to it being in safe mode since the sensor is unplugged. SO it has to be something in the sensor area lol

Ski01Honda: XD lol gosh should have told me and throw me off but i was wondering if u have a ur civic has sunroof does it tilt because in my 97 civic after i ripped out the headlinder i saw it was cutted underneath the interior and the wires were all duck tape so i'm not sure if my car was suppose to have a sunroof

i see so it tilts and slides all the way back huh?
idk if mines an EX or LX anymore because after i took that liner off it looked bootlegged.

Yeah goes all the way back and tilts up, Car's running again, got my HUB and all that fixed, did an oil change, no change in the motor. I'm to the point to where if i can find a nice deal on a nice motor, I'm replacing it!

Got to thinking, when i replaced my CPS could the magnet or what the magnet links to be dirty and that may be it? Just some thinking there, may not even matter.

probably not so it might just mean u have bad engine damage, hopefully u find a new one for cheap.
XD you should have just kept it on donuts like i did with my civic.

Mines EX, and since i'm going for a sleeper, just going to leave the motor the way it is :C going to get the car exterior/interior back to the way i want it (pretty much stock looking except for wheels, which are already on it) and then buy a nice motor for it.

Rocking 18" 6 spoke gunmetal Enkie's on low pro tires. Look beast on my car lol. Look em up, they came on the Toyota Yaris Onxy, i feel proud to own a set of only 200 sets made!
