Hello all, I am new to the Honda world. In the beginning of April I acquired a 1992 Honda Civic DX 4 door sedan with a 1.5 SOHC D15B7. My car is Opal Green and Bone stock. 13 inch steel rims, no back speakers, 134,830 miles when I bought it. The good thing is that the skid plates ( i think you call them that) and inside the fenders are all still in one piece and there is hardly any rust. I would like to make a few mods to it, not to many but enough to change the sound. I am also going to put 15 inch rims on it and maybe do a cold air intake. I want the few dents and the 2 tiny rust spots to be fixed and the car painted back to the same color. My 9 year old son is excited about the car. He tells me "Dad you got a Teenagers Car". He says that because of all the young kids with them around where I live. So being 36 am I to old to make a few mods to the Car for me and my lil man to enjoy? Seeing how i am new here I thought this would be sufficient for an introduction.

Never to old to enjoy a car, just because your not 17 and throwing eBay fart cans on it isn't a bad thing =)

Cold air intake is a lot of money for really no point, get a short ram and you will be able to hear the intake, and a nice cat back exhaust if your looking to change the noise ( yon aka is cheap and nice)

And I would recommend finding a nice set of ls integra alloys or gsr wheels, thy are nice looking 15s on an eg civic

Welcome to the forum!

Intake won't help much.. Just look really cool and make a sound.

Thank you all for the welcome's. I just put a set of 15 inch Integra 16 spoke rims on it. The person I got them from painted them white. I don't know if it is repainted or not. But with the Opal Green color I like the white rims. I also bought a short ram intake. Next step is saving for the cat back system. Then bodywork and new paint.
