New Interior

I recently put in a set of Del Sol Seats (Black/Grey Strip)....got them from a guy on ClubSI for $75

Went to a junkyard in Salem, VA and found a complete audio console, center console, armrest, and floormats for $40.....couldn't pass up the opportunity. The only problem is the pieces are grey.....should I paint/dye them black to match the interior, or leave them grey (they sorta match the stripe in the seats)

Any opinions are welcome.

Holy s**t.. there's barely a seat there... i'm guessing they're light as fawk?

I'd do whatever you can to make that center console black. it doesnt look HORRIBLE.. but it doesnt look great either..

The seats are real comfortable...firm, but comfortable. Any ideas on how to paint or dye the center console, since I do agree, it doesn't look that great with the black interior.

well man, from my experience, i would say if you REALLY want to paint, DON'T "dye" them, it's just like regular spray paint, and don't spray paint either, cause it flakes off pretty easy and that looks ghetto.
shamefully, I know from experience!!! lol!
I would take the peices out, and have them painted at a local paint and body shop if you don't have acess to a paint gun and compressor.
A good investment, and it shouldn't run ya too much, like around $50 or so.
I like those seats, I was gonna get some del sols for my EJ, but got a full 00 Si interior instead.
Are they comfy in long drives?

I haven't been on any really long drives since I put them in, but on my trip from home to school (around 45 mins.) they are really comfortable. They sit a little lower than my stock seats, but the bolsters are so much better than stock. The seats seem to "hug" you. For the price, I definately couldn't pass them up.

ya, nice seats, but they look very uncomfortable.. I guess I cant say until I sit in a set, but just from the pics, dont look comfy ahah, also... if you want a nicer job than painting, get thhe console wrapped in material...

Del Sol seats! Ugh! I would not pay to put those seats in my car, I would pay to take them out! I sit in my seats...I want them comfortable. Del sol seats are not comfortable for long periods of time.
First off, my car is a DAILY DRIVER...I like comfort...I drive a lot, I like to be comfortable when I drive for a few hours.
???

My Sol seats are awesome on long drives and WAY better than 5th gen Civic seats.

painting is easy, and WILL NOT flake if you take your time and DO IT RIGHT.....take pieces out, sand with 300-400 grit to scrape it up a little, spray coat of primer, allow proper amount of time to dry, finish with coat of black.very simple and works great, i speak from experience,it will not flake if you do it good.

I notice u said a little lower my boy has those seats in his 00 si and i feel like im on the ground.... I love they way they look in your car... Clean that center console and you'll be ok due to the fact u have a black dash and a grey center console and your seats are black with grey stripes
