Hi im hoping I can add to the site by providing pictures and informal write ups about repair and/or maintenance and/or modification adventures I go and gain some information while doing so. so heres my new baby! I bought her with soot coming from tail pipe, temp gauge only working when standing still, one wiindow not working, no radio, and probably bad transmission. I have bought a replacement tail light, a honda radio unit, and a "new" rubber piece for the hood from pick n pull.

Thanks, my plans aren't solid yet. I'm tossing around leaving it as a commuter car and just lower it while bringing it back to stock, or using it as a commuter car while learning autocross with it as my work horse. Depends how much money I feel like spending! So far I like the 30 to 35 mpg!!

Looks good, I saw drop it, put some clean rims on it and enjoy it...

Never have I seen one customized that looked good, but then again all the ones out here are Beat to heck!

new bottom end

first i picked up a spared d16 block. hopefully, once i rebuild the bottom end, i can use my d15 head with it and call it a day. if not id need a d16 head and learn how to do the conversion to multi point/port. heres what i picked up

had to replace alternator, what a flippin day!! nobody told me that it would take 1.5 hours!!... tips = slide under intake ;)

new plans. came up on a y8 setup, intake, tb, dizzy,vtec solenoid. gonna go obd1 and mpfi!! wish me luck.

ok so i had to buy a jdm d15b nonvtec. put that b***h in and im running again. been done for about a month now. im just waitng for more mulah to buy an obd1 dizzy , new injector clips and then ill slap the head on and wire up for vtec. win! oh yeah ive got a d16a6 block and internals with new rod and main bearings, new piston rings and new thrust bearings for sale!!

still at it!! just replaced axles. here are pics

still at it. in fact i just did axles this past weekend. here are the pics.
loosen lugs and spindle nut.

loosen crown and damper bolt/nut.

once ball joint is loose and axle removed from hub this is how it looks.

everything reinstalled, minus spindle nut and crown nut.

this image shows how i had to seperate ball joint. place and raise jack on lower control arm. place wrench between lower control arm and hub. release pressure from jack. if wrench, or piece of all thread in my case, is not ground at this point, step on assembly. it should seperate the ball joint. ( disclaimer: i in no way endorse this method as OSHA safe.)

oh yeah torque everything down, buy tranny fluid, replace axle seals, and replace cotter pin on lower ball joint.
