Whats good club civic!!! im new to the site,but been here b4 just never registered,right now i just got a couple of question,recently i picked up 93 eg hatch b20 boosted,now im not gonna lie im new to b20s and let along them being boosted,she runs good at 7 psi and it a no name turbo but she's tune by john vega at phereable...i know b20 cyl. walls are dope weak,the dude that i got it from said that the engine was built but no way to prove it unless tearing it apart,that's a far off wall thing right now since its my DD and im kinda worried as for pushing her,i dont treat her like that,im an adult and i like taking care of my toys.......as for minimal Questions,i was wondering what kind of oil should i use,been thinking of using castrol full synthetic.....also got a couple of plan of making it a better,like getting a aluminum radiator,getting a ramhorn mani,a better BOV and just a couple of stuff....just wanna hear ya'lls input,im new to civics lol heres come pics hope u like!!

I would suggest having it torn down. I know it doesn't seem practical right now but it's better to know what's inside than to have it blow on you. The engine bay looks all cluttered.

It may be a sign of how it's put together internally.

i would save ur money for a quality rebuild and a sleeve kit...

chances r ur gonna need it..

i like it man, i'd also spend the extra money right now and get it torn apart and see whats actually been done, and invest some money into the engine. and especially since its boosted, if go full synthetic like castrol or royal purple.

Thanx for all the input guys,I feel really welcomed!! I'm up and down with da green,I think I'm gonna painted burnt orange or bronze...yea that's my big big plan for the b20 is tearing it up apart n see what's inside...I'm gonna save some money and look into blockguards,sleeve kits...i got the car for just to mess around and drive around town,I don't like street racing,so i'll be treating her light...Any advice on sleeving it and how much for it? Do I need it even though I'm not boosting her high...I think at 7 pnds for a dd...what do u guys think??

^^^^thanks everybody,decent start for sure,everything looks well in place,except wires!! Wires everywhere!! That's this weeks project!! Wire tuck,rewire and make it look nice,man also the seats are super uncomfortable!! I'm gonna look for some gsr leathers seats...got nice plans for her!! I heard bout the smog thing,I don't know what's Floridas thing on that but who cares...today I drove all around town with no problem except the clutch was throwing me off,I went from driving a stock ls teggy stock clutch to a stage 3 exedy...well I really appreciate all the comment,I'm gonna keep updating on every lil thing!!

^^^thank guys!! The avatar name "sunshine" is for Florida,I'm from Orlando...got to keep ur ride In the DL if not thieves will take it asap!! If the b20 dies on me then I'm gonna go ls turbo,I really don't think that 7 pnds will Hurt the engine ,yesterday I said "screw it" I went to a disolated road and lunch her...1,2,3 spinning from the right tire,so I'm gonna be looking into LSD tranny...also notice that the suspension was amazing so I look under and it has skunk 2 all around I was like WTF!!!! Happy as hell!!! Lol altough the rims are 17" they don't look that bad,the ride feels comfortable since I'm a big dude...the muffler has a gay tip so i'm taking that asap,I got a Megan racing exhaust at home that I saved,been there for at least 2 yrs,that's my advice to anybody that likes cars,keep parts even if they r not for ur car,sometime later it will come handy :-)
well anyway guys I appreciate all the comment,I'm a manager at walmart so I got to get back to work,gotta make that $$$ ;-)
