ey guys i just bcame a member...can i get sum aDVISE on how to build up my engine i have a 93 civic dx,..........d15b7....manual trans....i really dont know much about engines so any advise would really help...thanx

I have the same engine in a 93 Four Door, You are gonna hear a lot of people telling you to swap the engine, The D1b7 is not a high performing engine, however with some bolt ons you can have some fun. I am currently doing an engine dress up on mine then I am lookin at puttin a header on it with a better exhaust system than the make shift one I have now lol. If you don't know a lot about engines you may want to find some people that currently work on hondas, hang out and get dirty toolin' on some cars it is the only way you will learn. There is an option to slap a Z6 head on the d15 block to make your honda a vtec and then you can look at goin even faster. It is all about how serious you are. Do you have pictures of your car that you can post? And what do you want out of your car?

uhmmm...yea i have a 4door too..hate 2 doors...it doesnt help for quick getaways....anyway....yea i have heard about the "mini swap"..... money is not a big deal its just that i dont know about quality parts,prices or assembly alltogether...ive been doing sum reasearch and i dont wanna swap the engine..maybe bigger heads better pistons...i dont know.
really any advise would help. loooks are also a must.i put on sum rims(i dont know the brand cuz i dont really care but they look sick) and bought sum projector headlights for it...i tryed putting on sum pics but iz confusing im not much of a computer freak so yea.....please overload me w info i'd really appreciate it.
