New Photos of the STI with some friends *Warning 56K*

I picked up a Nikon D40 DSLR recently and have been playing around with all the adjustments and what not trying to get familiar with it. Anyhow, here are some pics shot at night with no flash, using long shutter speeds to create different effects. Let me know what you think!

Thanks all, I was trying to capture the light the way that it actually was that night. I think that it came out pretty well in the pics though I think they are oversaturated. I haven't done much with photoshop, so I am learning that as I go as well, any tips/tricks/advice would be helpful.
