why would he waste money on an aem ... obviously hes smart enough to realise an intake is nothing more than a pipe with a filter on the end of it.

that is exactly what think. plus it sounds vicious.

but i understand what he is saying. because once you achieve a certain goal with your ride usually you'd start to get only the "super" name brand stuff.

Sick motor swap dood! Who put it together? Great setup! SHould put out awesome numbers. Do you really need the vtec controller since you already chipped your P28? I've had some friends having probs cuz they were running it piggy back.
It's gotta be super fast! Can't wait to hear track updates and times!

werd with the intake dood, the filter sits right behind your cooling fan for your raditator. So, when it kicks on, it blows hot air straight into your intake! I myself am also familiar to this common prob with B series swaps in 92-95 civics too!:smackself

Sorry to jump on this question but I have almost the same set up so........ Chipped ecu's need to be tuned because most have an aggressive fuel map and also most have a lower VTEC crossover. VTEC was designed for better high rpm air flow so being able to push the VTEC cross over back is a must as well as A/F ratio tuning. Hondata is a better choice when tuning but a piggyback will get you dialed in pretty good.

I must add that you sir, have a sick ass motor. I hope to be there some day. Our mod list is almost the same except you have the internals I hope to have some day.

actually i assembled the motor myself. t took me two days of hard work. i do have a problem with the chipped ecu and vtec controller. i kept gettin bogus cel(22-vtec and 4-crankshaft position sensor) so i disconnected it. now i dont get the cel's. but it still runs like hell. im going to get it dyno tuned. then later i plan to get a stock p72 and a nice piggyback.
