New Speakers

I need new speakers in my 1988 civic because the radio's sound comes in and out. Not sure if its the speakers but they probably should be changed anyways. What kind of speakers and radio should I change it with...Looking for something not too expensive.

sony sucks
pioneer stereo and infinity speaker and it would sound Good and on a budget

i put pioneers in my 90 hatch, they sounds amazing.
also, for a little extra, i got some dual tweaters from walmart, there not bad for $20...just sayin.

for your cd player, sony DOES make some great decks.
i bought one from best buy for $110, and it was great.

Its funny how everyone always says sony audio equipment sucks.

I just bought that EXACT kit because i still had my stock 6x9's in the back and I needed a new HU.

I can tell you that if your looking for something new at a cheap price, the sony bundle is all your gonna need from now.


I HAVEN'T, however, replaced my door speakers with the ones in the bundle because I have blaupunkt GT's in there and they are still holding up.

TL'DR unless you can find 6x9's, 61/2in, and a brand new HU at that price, buy it

Please don't listen to people who:
1. Buy their car audio equipment at walmart.
2. Mismatch generic tweeters with coaxial speakers
3. Clearly have no experience within the 12volt industry and just make a suggestion based on the fact that the cheap products they are advocating are all they have experience with.

Take it from an installer, the fact is that Sony makes cheap, unreliable products. If you aren't going to do something remotely decent, don't even bother. I would say a Pioneer deck and Infinity speakers was a decent recommendation for a budget. Anything less, don't even bother.

i have a sony in my car until some low life piece of s**t stole it. but sony does make good car stereo to me anyway lol
