Paintball and Cars
Hi all,
I've posted here before, and the replies to my questions have always been truly helpful! I recently bought a 1989 Civic Hatch with a D15b2 (honda wagon motor). Tomorrow, the swapping begins! I'm slapping in a D16Y8. Here's where I have a few questions:
1.) I decided to buy a P28 ECU because i couldn't find a OBD0 to OBD2 jumper harness for the P2P that came with the D16. Would you all have done anything differently when it comes to the ECU?
*The ECU i bought is in fact for a standard transmission; i verified using the last three numbers which were <50.
2.) I bought a OBD0 to OBD1 jumper harness for the P28 ECU. Will the jumper harness give me any trouble? Does anyone have experience with jumper harnesses?
3.) Will I need a distributor jumper harness?
4.) Will the transmission i currently have give me any problems with the D16Y8?
