new system: weird buzzing

So i recently installed a new system: HU, front comps, back coaxials, 2 10" subs, and 4 channel amp. I installed the amp and subs first and played music, everything was fine. Then I decided to power the back speakers with hu power, everything was still fine. Then, I decided to use the stock wires so i would not have to run speaker wire into the door, but after I cut the wires, and ran wires to the back, there has been weird buzzing in the front speakers ever since. I then, reconnected the front right and left positives, and most of the buzzing subsided. However, there is still buzzing, what do I do? I'm assuming its the negatives left hanging. Do I ground them or something? The buzzing is constant if the volume is on. It doesnt not change pitch unless more electricity is used, eg: turning on headlights. And it pops when i start my engine, turn on the HU, or press the brakes. So, can anyone diagnose what is wrong? Thanks.

Check to see what they're touching.... sometimes if the wires are touching something it'll buzz.. I hope that helped some..

get a set of cheap rcas and make a set of muting plugs. cut the ends off the rcas, strip the shielding, and and twist the inner conductor and outer shielding together.. turn your system on, see if the noise is there. if it is, turn off the head unit, disconnect the rcas from the amp, and plug in your muting plugs. let me know what happens..

it sounds to me like you have a grounding issue though.

I forgot to ask, but where is a good grounding point in a 95 ex coupe anyways? I tried the bolt that attaches the spare tire, it works, but...maybe not well enough?

that is part of your problem right there. You have a piece of metal with a threaded eyelet that is welded together... not a good ground.. scrape some paint away inside the tire well toward the rear of the car (away from the seat because your gas tank is in that general vicinity) and ground there, or remove the bottom half of the rear seat and ground at one of the seatbelt bolts. again, MAKE SURE you remove all paint and primer so it is just bare metal.....
