new tails came in the mail

hello cc, ive been here for a few months reading up, and i finally registered the other day. well after my tail lights being on back order for the last 3 weeks or so they came in. when i bought my civic it had those horribe euro apc bs tails. i'll show you my process of trying to rid my self of the least favorite part of my car.

first with just the tails, no lip or anything.

then i decided to forget about them, so i painted them black.

well after letting the paint fade it looked like this, plus the lip.

so i sucked it up and bought new ones, and painted my front and back lip. i dont have a picture of the front ill take one later and post it up. today im planning to paint the black liscense surround to match the car. i'll post pictures later.

comments, or suggestions welcome.

looks good i cant even begin to tell you how excicted i was when i got my 99-00 tails in....i have a 96 so mine came with red/clear/amber from the factory, the 99-00's are so simple and clean, great choice on the lip also, keep up the good work

future plans are looking forward to a si grill, rota slips bronze with yoko avs es100's. im looking to buy an exhaust next paycheck, along with tokico illumina's with h&r race springs. thats just a few things. eventually want to boost!

i dropped $115 on them from ebay. they're knockoffs but they look the same as stock.

the tail lights, dual exhaust cut out were both complements of the previous owner. i got the car real cheap, because it had some ricey parts.
