Welcome!

tags are what help make searching for content easier. say you wanted to find a thread on a Tein S Tech Spring, someone in the past couldve tagged their thread with words like "tein" or "s tech" etc, to help you when you search later on. Its alot like a keyword. Not too many people tag stuff here though, as far as i see.

to know when you get a thread reply, you could just check back every now and then, but if you look above the first post, youll see a drop down menu that says "Thread Tools" and in there is an option to subscribe to the thread, which will send you an email to your registered email address whenever someone posts in the thread.

also, when your looking at the forum, pay attention to the little envelope icons to the left of a thread listing. It can tell you if there are no new posts, or new posts as well

does that help?

Yea. A lot. I'll forget about the tags. Only area still confused abouty is when I first sign on the clubcivic.com, how do I begin a new thread/post. There is a list of sites such as USER CP- FAQ-COMMUNITY, etc. Do I simply click on NEW POSTS to either see replies or start a new thread? I don't see a specific icon to start a new thread post right out of the box. Many thanks.

Up at the top of the screen towards the left, theres a big button that says "civic forums", click that. (itll drop down, but you can just click the main button, its easier) That shows you all the forums on the website, kinda like a site map.

Click on where your question might apply, say "engine tech" and then once inside that forum just above the thread listings to the upper left, theres a button that says "New Thread" click that and you should be all set to go!
