New to cars, want to learn.

Hey everyone, I'm new to cars and I want to start learning. What do you think would be some good projects to do to my 2000 dx such as small upgrades for some power or maintenance things, the car has 180k miles on it. Also do you know of any good write ups for adding power or any good write ups or DIY period...I don't want anything serious, just to help me learn some more because I'm thinking of possibly becoming a mechanic

theres a diy tab on the upper right corner and the best diy you can do is search yourself and ull find nything ull ever want since its been talked about before. good luck

Takes time patience and lots of google. That's pretty much what landed me here. Signed up because 80% of the time i How to it lands me here.

The usually things that people starting will do are intake header and exhaust. But little do they know it only adds noise and will not give you the power it advertises. For real power you'd have to boost the motor or swap the motor. But seeing your still learning I'd just focus on the exterior looks and keep it maintained. You can certainly add the intake header and the exhaust or a muffler, but just don't expect anything crazy out of those mods.

Take your car completely apart and then put it back together again.
