New to Civics... Be nice!
Ok, I'll start this out very politely, please don't bash my wheel selection as I had the rims on a 94 escort tuckin rubber, this is my style, and it's never going to be completed. Constructive criticism is MORE than welcome. Without further ado, here is my 1995 Civic DX

From the day we got it til today. More pics added as I continue in my new venture (this is our first honda, so be nice plz!)

NSX FTW!

First "MOD"

Ok, the following is where I expect the flaming to begin... So with this in mind, remember what I stated at the beginning of the post. Please be respectful. I know it needs some smaller, we are trying to trade these wheels for a set of 16" Motegi's.

See the difference?

That's all for today. We are going to get a Condenser tomorrow, and get her d/s turn signal operational, and get the car road trip ready.

I have only had it for 2 days total, so there's really not much to report, figured I'd get the thread started tho.

I'm trying to locate some 16 or 17" wheels and tires and do a trade. I love my 18's, but they ride so rough and give it 4x4 stance which I hate. I need a step-ladder to get into it. I had these same rims on my Escort, and with the 3" drop, it tucked rubber.

16s are perfect for eg civics. And a lil drop and I'll tuck nicely with a decent ride. Form and function skunk2 or tokeiko are nice

Thats what my Escort has is Tokicos, ride is stiff, but with the coilovers and new bushings, it'll hang with a 180* hairpin lol.

The wheels looked pretty cool on the Escort lol.. But not on the civic... the wheels you got Im not personally diggin but better than the 18's.... Needs a DROP BAD..... But in due time?

As far as the car, auto personally don't like, so when you do the B swap do a manual swap and be good to go. Do your research no one will give it to you, because that is how we all learn research... Not one person has all the answers...

As far as the engine bay it is rough, not sure what those wires are running across your rad support but man those stand out BAD... Which tells me it was ran wrong, and is probably a sign of someone not knowing what they were doing, so I would find out what it is and run them correctly and out of sight....

GL and there is my 2 cents

Definitely, I will do a little research, but my questions are mostly about internals, which ones are great with boost, lighter flywheels, crank counterweights, etc. etc. If I can't find it, then I'll ask =)

Most of the cars I've owned with an exception of maybe 2 or 3 have been manual trans, so that's what we plan on doing to it. There is a Teg in my local yard, and maybe more at the one an hour away. I'm gonna do some diggin and see what all I'll need to make it a one day ordeal.

I have no idea what was going on with the wiring, but it sure as hell wasn't my doing. There is so much jackballed stuff on it, that my only assumption is that it was owned by some rich kid who has no respect for anything because if it tears up, mommy and daddy will get him/her another.

Thanks for the input!

? Not sure I get what you mean, unless it's just being obvious. Either way, as soon as I get some of my auto body stuff back, the cars getting sanded down, getting patched, primered and painted.
