New to CC. Looking at new engine. Any Advice?

Hey everyone,
my car is a 02 ex coupe with the D17A2 1.7L SOHC vtec engine.
Now I'm not familiar with any other hondas or engines or parts etc. I was wondering if anyone thinks this is a good engine? It runs great and is fun to drive sometimes. But I have been reading forums and researching and it seems that I want an engine with more power.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
I was looking at a B18C Type-R DOHC and the specs look great. Will that even fit into my car? Is it worth it? I know that im going to have to replace other things as well such as the ECU..
But im just no where near sure that this is the engine that would be best for my car.
Any suggestions? Thank you

Go K20a2 or add a turbo kit. Changing the engine for more power is just temporary until you get tired it.

Why should I go K20a2? Is that a more powerful engine? Can't I add a turbo to the B18C?
Also, what did you mean by getting tired of it? I want to get something that I want to keep. Thank you.
