Lowlink New Member Jul 23, 2011 #1 Got a 95 CiviC dx with a b16a DOHC V-tec i have 2 ecu's 1 thats hooked up says p30 n the other says p28. i was told the p28 needs to be hooked up. ? what ecu it really needs? any help wud be appreciated.

CHILD All Day, All JDM Registered VIP Registered OG 5+ Year Member 10+ Year Member Jul 23, 2011 #2 The P30 ecu has a knock sensor, and is made specifically for the B16A engine. The P28 ecu does not have a knock sensor, but it can be converted to work for DOHC VTEC engines. (no knock sensor though)
