New to site... another 2000 Coupe

Whats up dudes?

New to the site. Alot of good info here it seems. I just got into this whole "civic thing" recently. I'm an american muscle guy at heart. Not much has been done to the car really, just basics. Im researching an engine swap right now as the car has a D16y8 powerplant (if you can call it that haha). Anyway, here she is...

Engine:
-AEM Cold Air Intake
-NGK Wires (not much of a "performance" upgrade... more looks than anything else)
-DC Sports 4-2-1 Ceramic Header
-Hi-Flow Cat.
-Magnaflow Cat-back Exhaust (Don't get this unless you like loud exhaust's, can't wait to get ride of this now haha)

Suspension and Wheels:
-KYB Adjustable Shocks
-Skunk2 Adjustable Coil-over's
-Skunk2 front Camber Correction Kit
-Replica Spoon Sports Front Tower Bar
-Rear Type R Replica Tower Bar

I used to want the Magnaflow until I heard a lot of sound clips and realized it was pretty loud.

I like it!! Love muscle cars as well...Family has muscle cars but Im the only one into imports. Dad has 68 camaro, uncle has 64 buick skylark, and friend has a 64 impala wagon rat rod. Nice civic. Looks clean.

is the magnaflow really that loud? I have heard some vids and it seemed like it wasnt as loud as say the apexi, greddy etc... This is a whole cat back kit from what you say right?

Well it's def not as loud as the Apexi N1 so your definatly right about that... it's just too loud for my current taste I guess. I finally heard the mugen twin loop (replica) and a world sport 2 and I'm a bigger fan of them. I prefer the WS2.

I never got a chance to hear the magnaflow cat-back with the stock headers and cat though... that could make it sound louder. I replaced the intake and the headers, cat and exhaust at the same time. My "A$$ Dyno" could feel a slight difference haha. I think thats the only way to really "feel" a difference when adding bolt-ons to this engine. It just dosent open up the way a b-series does.
