Hey everybody, my name is Justin and I drive a 2003 civic sedan. First civic I've owned and pretty pleased with it. Question I have is the odometer reading blinks irratically whenever your driving. Don't know of any problems it could cause other then driving you crazy... Anyway, thanks for having me.

Just when you're driving? Like moving only? Maybe a bad connection?

I wonder what fuse it could be if it is one? And on the driving only part, never really paid attention when I'm at a stand still. I'll check it out. It did seem awhile back it did slow way down on the blinking, but my boy and I ran out to a race a few hours away runnin about 75-80 almost whole way and it seemed like it came back. Maybe something to do with it, maybe not...Thanks for the replies.

Sounds like a bad relay or connection

I'm almost certain that the console's been changed because the mileage doesn't match up when numbers are ran thru computer. Should that be my starting point? Had a recall item put in at Honda shop and when the guy pulled the serial number up, the dates and mileage were off. I guess no biggee. I bought it used with salvage title. Still gets 35-39 mpg. I'm happy with it...

sounds like the car had high miles when it was wrecked, they fixed it thinking yeahhh honda, we can make some $$$, stuck a cluster with lower miles, new said cluster is a shitty cluster, or they didnt plug it in correctly. imo, id go to junk yard or ebay, get a cluster, and start there.

Update on blinking. It does do it while standing still. Not just driving. Is it just a one plug deal behind there or multiple on the cluster?
