new to the civic world!! please help me out?

hi lads/ lasses.. my names martin, im 19, and im from kent. ive been into the vauxhall scene for quite a while and its time to get into buisness with some real cars!! im looking into civic's and crx del sol's at the moment and im just wondering if there are bits too look out for when looking to buy one? and what engines are most tuneable, reliable?? to be honest i know absolutly anything about civic's or anything of the sort so im afraid it will be like talking to you granparents . basically im asking for as much infomation as possible!! thanks!!

Where the hell is kent? lol. Uh well it depends on what you want. If your in the US, NO civic you buy will be fast stock from 2000 down. 01-05's's are ok but still not very quick, and anything above that is probably out of your price range anyway. Your Best bet is getting a civic from 92-95 since they are the most easily tune able and swapping an engine in or boosting them. It really depends on what you want out of the car most and how much cash you have to spend. Power, reliability, good gas mileage? If I were you I'd pick my favorite model and year and go from there, cuz they're all basically the same.
